Here at Urbantrout we’re staunch supporters of equal numbers of men and women on the water, so we’ve been especially pleased to see this Wild Trout Trust initiative going from strength to strength.
Sponsored by an anonymous donor, this year’s programme has made it possible for Yorkshire-based fishing guide Phillippa Hake to take two ladies out for a day’s fishing on her local urban River Calder, and show them the joys of ‘escaping from life’s pressures and stresses in beautiful river environments’.
